< - - LET'S GET READY to Tumble!!! 25 pounds of select quality, natural, unpolished and very colorful assorted jaspers from Oregon’s central coast. Newport has always been noted for its abundance of agate and exceptionally fine, colorful jaspers, however we rarely see an abundance of this quality.

Just recently we personally unearthed among a ton of overstock from a world-class collection these premium Oregon jaspers that were collected over the past 40-60 years. We have hand picked these seashore cobbles, to insure you of an excellent variety, ranging in color from solids to multi colored/patterns: of muted earth tones to exceptionally brilliant and rich fiery reds, golden yellows, some lots may even include some green jasper and possibly some petrified wood. Sizes will range from over an inch and larger to fist sized of which yield attractive results when used as lapidary cutting rough for making cabs for jewelry or tumbled and polished using one of our (6 pound or larger) rock tumblers, sold separately.

These opaque jaspers (when dry may appear: waxy to dull) will tumble nicely with agate and or petrified wood as they all range about 7 to 7.5 on the MOS mineral hardness scale. These waterworn cobbles would be suitable for ornamental gardens, useful as warming stones for reptiles in a terrarium, as a colorful floor for your fish aquarium, water fountain, pond or polished to a lustrous finish for other needs as suitable in display or décor needs.
